The foundation of TSU Working Group on Research Ethics was initiated by the Center for Science and Ethics of TSU. It involves leading researchers, principle investigators of research teams and heads of structural units of TSU, who are engaged in advanced research in such areas as: psychology, medicine, biology, genetics, law, computer and neurosciences, big data, and etc.

The activity of the Working group is aimed at consolidating the procedure for ethical approval of research at TSU with the prospect of further scaling the model to the Big University of Tomsk.

Group members work at the creating a database of ethics cases from different subject areas, improving educational tools on research ethics and bioethics for students, and also developing a research agenda.
